Portable Start Menu is an application launcher designed for USB drives. These days, most popular applications have "portable" versions, which don't require installation and can be easily run from all sorts of removable drives.

Portable Start Menu gives you tools to make those applications even easier to use. It allows you to create shortcuts to all of them. You can then access them from a list in the main window. When you add a program, you tell this launcher where the application is (portable drive letters are automatically adjusted), and what parameters you want to run the application with. Also, you can run it maximized or minimized by default.

The more important aspect of this launcher is that you can configure it to run an array of applications automatically whenever Portable Start Menu is launched. Furthermore, you can create an autorun script that will run Portable Start Menu when you insert a USB drive. This application has support for TrueCrypt containers, so that you can keep your files encrypted on the go. You can even set it to automatically mount and dismount containers.

There are some other options that you can play with. I like that Portable Start Menu will keep a close eye on what applications are doing at all time, and it can carry out actions if an application is modified. Also, you can configure this app to close all other programs when you close it, which makes it considerably easier and quicker.
